Dr. Nancy Faller

Dr. Nancy I. Faller is Board Certified in Anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology and she is certified by the American Board of Pain Medicine. She received her Bachelors of Nursing from Emory University in Atlanta Georgia. After years in nursing she wanted to increase her capabilities in helping patients and as a result she earned her Doctor of Osteopathic  Medicine from the Kansas City School of Osteopathic Medicine.  At the same time she was in the U.S Army as a Lieutenant.  She completed her Internship and then was in active duty in the Army stationed at Fort Benning, Columbus GA. and then Fort Meade in Maryland. She was a General Medical Officer as well as a flight surgeon. She earned several badges but the most prestigious was the Expert Field Medical Badge which is a long and rigorous endeavor that few are able to complete.

After her time in the Army she completed her Anesthesiology Residency at The Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, S.C. After her residency she remained as an Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology. In 1995 she moved to the Winston Salem area to help start a pain management program associated with the Forsyth Medical Center. She has been in pain management since her residency and has a sterling reputation in the Piedmont-Triad area in this discipline.  Her interests are in palliative care, neuromodulation such as spinal stimulators and spinal pain.

She serves as the Medical Consultant to the regional Hospice Care entity as well as running a charitable Foundation for the rescue and care of various animals. She lives on a farm with her husband and takes care of and fosters care of rescued equine animals along with sheep, goats, pigs, essentially any animal that may need the assistance of their charitable foundation.
